Social Media Manager (VA1) Create short-form video content for Instagram and Facebook (Reels, Stories) showcasing electrical work, safety tips, and before/after transformations Design professional image posts featuring electrical trends, tips & tricks, service spotlights, and branded content Post consistently (daily or as scheduled) across Facebook and Instagram Create and manage a monthly content calendar with themed days (e.g., Monday Maintenance Tip, Feature Friday) Engage with local builders, realtors, and tradespeople by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant posts to build local rapport Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and tags to maintain brand presence and client communication Stay on top of electrical trends and translate them into engaging post ideas (code changes, new tech, energy-saving solutions) Provide ideas and guidance on how Tom can film himself (e.g., talking about a job, explaining a tip, reviewing a product): Recommend using a tripod and good lighting Shoot landscape or square format Keep videos under 60 seconds Include captions and a call to action Track post performance and provide monthly summaries with suggestions for improvement Help grow following organically through quality content and local engagement Assist with occasional ad setup (boosted posts or service highlights) on Meta Business Suite Social Media Moderation Develop an effective Social Media strategy Creation and research of contents: Research on trends and market preferences Scheduling post and create a content calendar Distribution of marketing materials Graphics and image editing from Canva or similar app for posting Tools Cap Cut, Canva, instagram, facebook Working Hours: • Monday to Friday, Part-time 8am-12pm Schedule notes: Friday, August 1, 2025 at 12:30 PM EST (11:30 AM CST)
