Social Media Manager Social Media & Community Management • Manage and maintain all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) • Monitor and moderate comments, messages, and community engagement • Respond to followers promptly and engage with influencers, partners, and community leaders • Increase brand awareness and grow audience reach across platforms • Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with company goals • Research and curate engaging, relevant content tailored to each platform • Track social media trends, analytics, and audience preferences to guide content direction • Schedule posts and maintain a consistent content calendar • Design and distribute digital marketing materials • Create graphics and edit images using Canva or similar design tools Video & Content Production • Perform basic video editing and repurposing of long-form content into short-form videos • Edit and adapt clips for different platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories, etc.) • Add captions, hashtags, and optimized descriptions to maximize reach and engagement • Collaborate with editorial and production teams to highlight events, features, and brand initiatives Monetization & Advertising • Explore and implement strategies to maximize monetization opportunities on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok • Plan, set up, and manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Ads both for company projects and client accounts • Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns to achieve the best ROI • Prepare reports and insights on growth, engagement, and monetization progress Email Marketing & Campaigns • Build and manage targeted email marketing campaigns to promote events, magazine issues, and media services • Create engaging newsletters and automated email sequences • Track open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve campaign effectiveness Schedule notes: • Wednesday, 10th of September at 12:00 PM PST (2:00 PM CST)
