Video Editor (VA3) • Edit long-form videos • Includes graphic overlays, transitions, closed captions, and B-rolls • Understanding of brand visuals and identity • Repurposing videos for shorts and reels • Editing clips and converting them for different platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram Reels, and Stories Qualifications & Requirements• Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects • Create custom motion graphics, animations, titles, lower thirds, and visual effects as needed • Strong color correction and color grading skills, including working with LOG footage • Ability to produce modern, engaging, story-driven edits for both long-form and short-form content • Able to work from reference videos and closely match the requested editing style, pacing, and visual direction • Strong attention to audio editing, sound design, music selection, captions, and overall production quality • Ability to organize project files, footage, graphics, and other media assets efficiently • Experience with filming/cinematography is a plus, particularly an understanding of camera settings, LOG footage, lighting, and composition • Portfolio quality is very important; strong custom editing and motion graphics work preferred over primarily template-based editing Tools• Must: • Adobe Premiere Pro — advanced proficiency • Adobe After Effects — advanced proficiency • Modern AI-assisted video and creative tools/workflows — strong working knowledge, including AI for editing, transcription/captioning, audio enhancement, generative visuals, ideation, and production efficiency • Google Drive — file access, organization, and collaboration • Microsoft SharePoint — navigating shared media libraries and managing footage • Advantage: • Adobe Audition or equivalent audio-editing tools • Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator • Experience with generative AI tools for video, image, and audio creation • Collaboration Hours• Monday–Friday, 4 hours/day, with overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours. Potential to transition to full-time.ime in the future. • Part-time • Compensation:• $15/hour, open to paying more for a highly experienced candidate To be replaced: John Eduard Velarde Ross
