Social Media Manager Christian Men's Brand | Long-Form + Short-Form Content Strategy, Distribution & Growth • About Son of Wisdom • Son of Wisdom is a premium Christian men's movement focused on helping high-achieving men become stronger husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of God. • Our audience includes successful entrepreneurs, executives, investors, business owners, doctors, brokers, and other high-performing professionals who may be winning professionally but know there are areas of their marriage, family, identity, leadership, or spiritual life that need transformation. • Our content is not built simply to generate views. We use content to: • Build belief and trust • Deepen the audience's relationship with Blake and the Son of Wisdom message • Challenge men spiritually and practically • Create meaningful conversations • Grow an engaged audience of the right men • Drive qualified men toward our programs and application process We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can take ownership of both our long-form and short-form content ecosystem. This is not a basic posting or community-management position. We need someone who understands how content moves from strategy production publishing distribution optimization conversion. • The Role • The Social Media Manager will oversee the day-to-day execution and growth of Son of Wisdom's organic content across our primary platforms. • You will work closely with our Integrator, video editors, marketing team, and Blake Templeton as the primary voice and face of the brand. • You will be responsible for making sure our content is: • Strategically aligned • Published consistently • Packaged effectively • Distributed correctly • Repurposed intelligently • Reviewed for quality • Measured against meaningful performance metrics • You should be equally comfortable thinking about a 30–60 minute YouTube video and the short-form clips that can be extracted and distributed from it. • What You Will Own • 1. Long-Form YouTube Content • You will help manage and grow Son of Wisdom's long-form YouTube strategy. • This includes: • Managing the long-form content calendar • Organizing upcoming video topics and publishing schedules • Coordinating with video editors • Reviewing videos before publication • Ensuring videos follow brand and production standards • Creating or coordinating strong titles • Creating or coordinating thumbnails • Writing or optimizing video descriptions • Adding chapters and timestamps where appropriate • Managing calls to action throughout the content • Ensuring videos are properly uploaded, scheduled, and published • Optimizing content based on performance • Identifying opportunities for stronger hooks, retention, packaging, and distribution • Our long-form content is designed to go deeper than short-form. • The purpose is to build belief, trust, authority, and connection with our audience and ultimately move qualified viewers toward taking the next step with Son of Wisdom. • 2. Short-Form Content • You will manage the short-form content ecosystem across platforms such as: • Instagram Reels • Facebook Reels • YouTube Shorts • Other relevant platforms as the brand expands • Responsibilities include: • Identifying strong moments from long-form videos, coaching sessions, teachings, interviews, and other recordings • Coordinating clip selection with editors • Creating a consistent short-form posting schedule • Writing or refining hooks and captions • Ensuring every short-form piece has a clear purpose • Matching clips to appropriate CTAs • Reviewing edits before publication • Monitoring which topics, hooks, formats, and messages perform best • Repurposing winning ideas without making the content repetitive • You should understand that short-form content primarily captures attention and creates awareness, while deeper content builds the trust required for someone to take action. • 3. Content Repurposing • A major responsibility of this role is maximizing every piece of content we create. • We want someone who naturally thinks: • How many valuable pieces of content can we create from this? • For example, a single Son of Wisdom coaching session may become: • A long-form YouTube video • Several short-form clips • Quote posts • Educational posts • Story content • Email ideas • Future content topics • Retargeting assets • You will help build and manage this repurposing system. • 4. Social Media Content Calendar • You will own and maintain the social content calendar. • The calendar should clearly show: • What is being posted • On which platform • On what date • The content type • Current production status • Assigned editor • CTA • Content source • Approval status • Publication status • Performance after publishing • You will be responsible for preventing content bottlenecks and making sure the team always knows what is coming next. • 5. Content Strategy • We do not want someone who simply posts whatever they are given. • You should be able to think strategically about: • What our audience needs to hear • What topics are resonating • What questions our audience is asking • What messages are creating engagement • Which videos build trust • Which videos generate qualified leads • Which content themes should be expanded • Which formats should be retired or adjusted • Where gaps exist in our current content strategy • You will regularly bring ideas to the team rather than waiting for someone else to tell you what to post. • 6. Audience & Brand Understanding • You must deeply understand who Son of Wisdom serves. • Our primary audience is high-achieving Christian men, including entrepreneurs, executives, investors, business owners, and high-income professionals. • Many of these men are professionally successful but may be struggling with areas such as: • Marriage • Fatherhood • Identity • Spiritual leadership • Emotional leadership • Addiction or destructive patterns • Family relationships • Purpose • Intimacy with God • Leading their household • Internal pressure despite outward success • Our content should speak directly to these men without sounding generic, preachy, artificial, or overly corporate. • You will be expected to understand the language, worldview, struggles, aspirations, and spiritual framework of the audience. • 7. Brand Voice & Messaging • Son of Wisdom has a strong and distinct voice. • Our content can be: • Direct • Challenging • Encouraging • Biblical • Masculine • Conviction-driven • Vulnerable • Practical • Spiritually grounded • But it should never feel manufactured. • We want someone who understands how to preserve Blake's natural voice rather than turning everything into generic marketing copy. • You will help ensure consistency across captions, video titles, descriptions, posts, and other social content. • 8. Content Quality Control • Before content goes live, you will help ensure it meets our standards. • You will review for things such as: • Strong opening hook • Clear message • Appropriate pacing • Clean editing • Correct captions/subtitles • Audio quality • Brand consistency • Correct formatting • Correct CTA • Thumbnail quality • Title quality • Spelling and grammatical errors • Platform-specific formatting • You should be comfortable giving clear feedback to editors when something needs improvement. • 9. Performance Tracking & Optimization • You should understand the difference between vanity metrics and meaningful metrics. • You will track performance across both long-form and short-form content. • Metrics may include: • Long-Form • Views • Click-through rate • Average view duration • Audience retention • Watch time • Subscriber growth • Traffic sources • CTA response • Applications generated • Short-Form • Views • Watch time • Retention • Replays • Shares • Saves • Comments • Followers gained • Profile visits • CTA response • You will use this data to recommend what the team should: • Create more of • Create less of • Test • Improve • Repurpose • Expand into long-form content • We expect someone who can look at performance and ask: • Why did this work? • Not simply: • This got a lot of views. • 10. Community Awareness • While this role is not primarily a customer-support position, you should monitor audience responses closely. • Comments and conversations often reveal: • Pain points • Objections • Questions • Content ideas • Language our audience uses • Potential leads • Emerging themes • You should be able to identify valuable insights and feed them back into the content strategy. • 11. Coordination With the Content Team • You will work with: • The Operations Integrator • Video editors • Marketing team members • Blake Templeton • Other contractors or specialists as needed • You will help make sure everyone knows: • What they are working on • When it is due • What the purpose of the content is • What platform it is intended for • What standards must be followed • Strong communication and follow-through are essential. • What We Are Looking For • We are looking for someone who has experience managing social media for a personal brand, education business, coaching company, media brand, or similar content-driven organization. • The ideal candidate understands both strategy and execution. • You should have experience with several of the following: • YouTube • Instagram • Facebook • YouTube Shorts • Reels • Long-form video • Short-form video • Content calendars • Video repurposing • Social analytics • Content strategy • Audience development • YouTube titles and thumbnails • Hooks and captions • Organic audience growth • Content distribution • Creator or personal-brand marketing • You May Be a Strong Fit If... • You naturally watch a long video and immediately recognize: • That section should become a short. • You look at analytics and want to understand why something performed. • You can manage multiple pieces of content moving through production without losing track of details. • You understand that a video with fewer views but the right viewers may be more valuable than a viral video reaching the wrong audience. • You are comfortable challenging an idea when you believe something could perform better. • You can receive direction but do not require constant direction. • You are organized enough to manage execution while strategic enough to improve the system. • You understand that content should ultimately support a business objective. • This Role Is NOT For Someone Who... • Only knows how to schedule posts • Needs every task spelled out step by step • Focuses exclusively on follower count • Does not understand long-form video • Does not understand short-form video • Cannot interpret basic content analytics • Waits for other people to generate every content idea • Does not pay attention to details • Treats every social platform exactly the same • Uses AI to generate generic content without understanding the brand • Cannot manage multiple deadlines and content pieces simultaneously • Familiarity With AI • We actively use AI as part of our workflows. • You should be comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for things like: • Content research • Brainstorming • Content organization • Repurposing ideas • Title generation • Hook exploration • Transcript analysis • Content analysis • However, we do not want someone who blindly publishes AI-generated content. • AI should make you better and faster, not replace judgment, creativity, or understanding of the audience. • Christian Alignment • Because of the nature of Son of Wisdom, you must be comfortable working with explicitly Christian and Bible-based content. • You do not need to be a theologian. • However, you must be able to understand, respect, and accurately communicate within the worldview of the brand. • Experience working with C
